The Global Day of Community Restoration (GDCR) is a transformative movement designed to create lasting social change by rebuilding the fabric of our communities. Each 29th of the month, we inspire individuals to take action and actively contribute to the well-being and unity of their communities.

Through youth empowerment, safe spaces, and community engagement, GDCR directly addresses the urgent issues of social isolation, youth violence, and mental health challenges. By promoting collective responsibility, we foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and shared growth.

    Our Impact

The GDCR empowers everyone, young and old, to take ownership of their role in society, ensuring no one is left behind. By strengthening community ties and encouraging positive actions, we create a ripple effect that builds stronger, more resilient communities worldwide.

Together, we are shaping a future where every person feels connected, valued, and capable of making a difference.

    Believe in Change!

"Be brave and courageous. Community transformation begins when we step beyond the comfort of the familiar and embrace the call to reconnect with something deeper. True change requires courage—leaving behind hesitation to build a stronger, more united community rooted in timeless values. Though fear of the unknown may hold us back, the power of togetherness is undeniable. When we stand together, we ignite a force that not only transforms our communities but also strengthens us as individuals. Let’s be bold, create lasting impact, and forge a future grounded in unity and purpose" Bankera

    Why The 29th?

Article 29 emphasises that everyone has responsibilities to their community, and must respect others' rights while contributing to society's welfare.

On the 29th day of every month, we want you to take a moment to connect, contribute, and make a positive impact in your community. Whether it's a small act of kindness, volunteering your time, or simply reaching out to a neighbour, your participation can help restore and strengthen the bonds that unite us.

Join us in making the 29th a day of meaningful action and together, let's create lasting change.

  • “You have the responsibility to the place you live and the people around you we all do. Only by watching out for each other can we each become our individual best.

    - The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 29
